Our Mission
After years of exploring and reviewing Toronto's playgrounds, our sense of adventure finally outgrew our area code. And as our kids started approaching the end of their peak playgrounding years, we made an important decision: we want to explore this country with them.

We're making our way across the country in two trips: from Toronto to PEI and back in August, and from Toronto to Vancouver to Whitehorse and back in the fall. Along the way, we'll be sharing it all: the land, the history, the roadside surprises, and the playgrounds worth the detour.

As we go, we're raising funds for the Jumpstart Charity, a fantastic organization that helps bring accessible play to Canadian communities from coast to coast.

Ioniq 9 - Built to Belong
Thanks to Hyundai Canada, we're making our way to Prince Edward Island in what might be the ultimate family EV: the Ioniq 9. We've been an EV-only family since 2020, owned two different brands and test-driven many more, and I can tell you: the Ioniq 9 is absolutely top-tier in terms of comfort, practicality, and value for money.
Our Trip, Part 2: West + North
In September-October 2026 we'll head out to Vancouver Island, fly in to the Yukon, return to Vancouver and head back to Toronto.
